2024 Great Lakes Border Battle Weather Update & Date Change

Attention fans and racers planning on attending the 8th annual ServPro Great Lakes Border Battle powered by KME and fueled by Superior Fuel Co. at the Gondik Law Speedway in Superior, WI this weekend…

The event has been shifted from its original Friday/Saturday schedule to a Saturday/Sunday schedule due to the forecasted rain on Friday.

Saturday’s program will now consist of what Friday was scheduled to be, featuring 2 sets of heats for each WISSOTA Modified driver, plus a full show for the WISSOTA Late Models as the opener for the KME Late Model Series, plus Super Stocks, Midwest Modifieds and USRA Late Models. Saturday, pits will open at 4pm, grandstands will open at 5 and racing is scheduled to begin at 7pm.

And Sunday, pits will open at 2pm, grandstands will open at 3pm and racing is scheduled to start a 5pm, featuring another full program of KME Late Model Series action for the WISSOTA Late Models, plus Super Stocks, Midwest Modifieds, USRA Late Models and the b-mains and 50-lap, $10,000 to win WISSOTA Modified feature race.

Late Models will race for $2,500 to win each day.
Super Stocks and Midwest Modifieds will race for $1,000 to win each day.
USRA Late Models will race for $750 to win each day.
Modifieds will race for $10,000 to win / $1,000 to start over the weekend.

There are also $100 Hard Chargers available for each of the 4 classes that run features on Saturday night, courtesy of Champs Sports Bar & Grill, The Moes Sell Homes, Joe Provo Racewear and Jo Jo’s Grab-n-go, plus $100 Hard Chargers for the Late Models, Super Stocks, Midwest Modifieds and USRA Late Models on Sunday, as well as a $500 Hard Charger for the Modifieds on Sunday, courtesy of XR and the XR Northern Storm. And, don’t forget, three randomly drawn USRA Late Model drivers will take home $500 checks from Badger Storage & Excavating throughout the weekend as well.
